About the Artist
My path in art started when I was young. I took dedicated artist courses for gifted youth in middle and elementary school, and attended an arts magnet high school. Even before attending college for painting, I was taking digital illustration commissions online. I was influenced by innovative digital illustrators such as Lois van Baarle, Audrey Kawasaki, and later James Jean, that dabble in the space between representative illustration and fantastical, dream-like elements.
Art After Life
Following graduation from university with a degree in Studio Art, I started taking commissions online. Between illustrating and working full-time, I’ve experimented with different styles including abstract, realism, comics, and mediums such as watercolors, acrylic and linocut printmaking. I am regularly inspired by colors and patterns found in nature, alongside visualizing personal emotions.
Alongside the fact that many galleries were shut down during Covid, my work, being primarily digital, does not often lend itself to showings. Nevertheless, I have shown watercolor, gouache and acrylic pieces at:
- Spectrum Art Gallery in Centerbrook, CT
- Middletown Framing, Middletown, CT
- Freight Street Gallery, Waterbury, CT
- Inksplosive Tattoo, Milford, CT
If interested in showing some of my real media pieces or digital prints, please feel free to contact me.
